Die mit verschiedenen Trennlagen erhältlichen Grundschienen ermöglichen die Lastumlagerung auf benachbarte Module und verringern somit den erforderlichen Ballast. Sie dienen der Anbindung der Aufständerungsbauteile wie Basisfuß und Modulstütze, die einfach in die Grundschiene eingeklickt werden können. Die Grundschiene ist mit dem Kabelhalter und Deckel auch als Kabelkanal einsetzbar.
